The Old Parsonage, hotel in Binegar

Situated 25 minutes drive from the historic cities of Bath and Bristol, surrounded by quaint villages and stunning countryside, The Old Parsonage is a Grade II* listed 17th-century house, which...

Self-catering apartment "the Pantry" was comfortable and, for the price, quite spacious. The kitchen area is well equipped with all the appliances, crockery etc that you could need. The bathroom is modern with a nice walk in shower and, as the apartment has its own boiler, hot water is always available. Living area has good sized bed and sofa-bed although I doubt the space is large enough for more than two people. A table and stools completed the furniture. There was milk in the fridge and cereals in the cupboard when we arrived, which was a nice touch. Overall a nice place to stay for a few days and good value.

A charming traditional country pub. Well located on the A37 just north of Shepton Mallet. Huge car park. Lovely atmosphere when you enter the pub. Great staff who are most helpful. Pretty, cosy room. Clean bathroom and comfy bed. They provide huge bathtowels which is a bonus these days. Another bonus is the fruit bowl that is in the room together with bottled water and a pot of self make porridge for breakfast. The shower is brilliant.

The room was lovely and big, it had a seperate bathroom and a large window. There were lot's of lamp's and the bathroom was a good size. The bar area was lovely and bright with lot's of places to sit and there was an outside seating area. The car park was a good size. We ate in the bar on our first night and the food was ok.

Great rooms, pub, food, drink, staff, parking, wi-fi. Superb value. Loved that I got a breakfast bag left at my door. I often stay away for work, but always have to creep out before a normal hotel breakfast is served. Loved the decor in the room & the bath!

The building was interesting. The car park was big enough. The shower was good. The food in restaurant looked like other people were enjoying it. We were too tired to eat what we were offered, Sunday Lunch Menu. The beer was okay.

A comfortable roadside inn with ample free parking. The Mendip Inn offers very good value for money, though for travellers who enjoy a hearty breakfast on site this isn't for you. However I found the breakfast bag provided to be perfectly adequate for my needs. The small room was clean and well appointed. I wasn't affected by noise from the nearby main road

We stayed here for one night and thought the room was lovely with lots of potential. The location was very convenient for Bath/Wells/Glastonbury. Plenty of free parking. Breakfast bag in the morning was a nice touch. It’s on a very busy road but the noise wasn’t as bad as expected.
