Stayed multiple times now, I love this place. I work in Cirencester so often stop for 1-2 nights per week, I always try and stay here if possible. The Riverside rooms in particular are very nice, roll top bath is a luxury upgrade from the (still very luxurious) standard rooms. Staff excellent, good beers on tap, food is varied and I've very much enjoyed every meal I've had here. Breakfast choices are great as well. I feel terrible staying here without my partner because it feels like such a treat, so we're remedying that by staying here for our anniversary - it's a perfect cosy couples getaway in the Cotswolds

Location great, breakfast good. Would have liked a coffee pod machine.

Amazing place! So clean, they provided dog bowls, treats, towels, easy access to let your pet out late at night. The food was so good, we ordered of the set menu thinking the portions would be smaller due to the price and we left the table to sleep for 4 hours in a food coma! The room was clean and well sized with a modern country take. They had the option to buy your dog a meal from the bar so if you wanted to eat together downstairs you could. The breakfast was exceptional and again MASSIVE! 10/10
Nestled in the pretty Gloucestershire village of Coln St Aldwyns, this beautiful country inn offers a garden overlooking meadows and elegant, individually designed rooms with modern amenities.

The Inn was in a great position for exploring the Cotswolds. The evening meal was brilliant and the breakfast was really good.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Perfectly located in the beautiful Bibury and is just a few minutes walking distance to the stunning view of Arlington Row. The drive to and from Bibury was scenic on itself. The breakfast is one of the best of our England visit concerning all English breakfast we’ve had. The family room has good space and reasonable facilities in the bathroom. Parking by the House is easy.
We thought that Swallows Nest was lovely. Downstairs was very spacious and the bedroom was really cosy. The property was really clean, had all the facilities we needed and we were really impressed. Having on site parking was a real bonus. The owners live across the road and were lovely and helpful. They gave us several recommendations of places to eat and the ones we tried were excellent. The location is perfect and was just a 5 minute walk to Arlington Row.
We loved everything about Swallows Nest and will be back!
Firstly the staff bent over backwards for us particularly for a parking space being disabled although we did have to wait, the room are outdated need of decoration and the room where the fire escape was is in an appalling condition, it wasn’t worth the amount being paid. We had an infested room on wood lice which the manager gave us £50 off which was a bit of an insult. The breakfast and staff were lovely no complaints there.
Location was brilliant as going to wedding just yards away. That it was an electric oven and not gas as written up and also told by retreat staff. Parking space a bonus
The location was great, just a few minutes' walk from Bibury and Arlington Row. The breakfast was good, with three options to choose from and a small buffet. We got an upgrade to the cottage, which came with a kitchen, and that was practical with a small child.
There was parking.
Don't miss out on dining at the restaurant – the cuisine is genuinely top-notch. The hotel, although older, enjoys an ideal location for exploring the renowned Arlington Row. The rooms exude charm, and the staff are exceptionally accommodating. Plus, the convenience of free parking nearby is a definite perk. Be sure to take a stroll through the small, meticulously maintained garden in front of the property – it's a truly magical experience.
