I was taking part in a sailing event and the hotel could not be nearer to Bassenthwaite Sailing Club! There was plenty of off street parking.
Lovely home from home feel with kitchen table, washing up liquid and tea towels thankfully as I forgot those! Large rooms, bath and shower. Washer and dishwasher which I didn't use, books, games and binoculars to see the wildlife in the field opposite. Parking space, and hive heating. Boots to be left near the front door on the tray, though I put mine near the radiator on newspaper as it rained a bit!
Breakfast was great, good choice and filling. Lovely quiet location with plenty of parking. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.
