The location is beautiful. It is a private area, but also not too far from the centre of Keswick, probably a 10 minute drive and the most. If planning to get a taxi use the recommended local taxi drivers on Google as there is no Uber. Taxi to the centre should cost around £10. The house was very clean, had plenty of utensils and cutlery and little touches such as salt, pepper, oil, tea, coffee and hot chocolate were welcome additions that you do not get anywhere.

The location was great. Lots of parking and the breakfast was lovely. Very comfortable bed and great value for money. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful.

Booked this hotel as doing Scafell Pike , was only a short distance to the start of the walk ,so was ideal location, was lovely views from the hotel ,with plenty parking, great food , amazing breakfast, clean staff were lovely, couldn't fault this hotel ,would definitely stay here again
This is a nice location to stay for touring, hiking or climbing in Borrowdale. It's also great for Derwent, Honister Pass & Buttermere. It's a very nice scenic drive to get here & the scenery is superb. The hotel is nice, well decorated & has a decent amount of on-site parking. It also appears to have on-site activities available should you wish to avail yourself.
