We loved how it was close to Bayeux but it felt like the French countryside. Close to everything all the DDay sites and restaurants but quiet and with parking. My husband enjoyed birdwatching and added a couple lifers to his list. Madam was gracious and charming! Her breakfast were superb. Homemade jams made with fruit from her orchard. Each morning she surmised us with a cake she made herself and they were fantastic.

The location was perfect for access to the coast and the Normandy landings and museums.. Very quiet and peaceful. With good access to supermarket in Port en Bessin less than 10min drive.
