An excellent continental breakfast was provided, with juices, pastries, breads, yogurts, fruits and more to choose from, with your choice of drinks The rooms were very spacious, the bed was firm and nice and high. Unusually these days there were plenty of coat hangers and storage space. Although parking on hotel grounds was not possible, there was plenty of free parking nearby. Mathieu, the proprietor, was friendly and very helpful throughout our stay.
Fantastic location, parking right outside. David the host was very kind & friendly. The building has been renovated to a high standard. Would suit people just wanting a base to explore.
A happy return to a favourite town - and a good location within it. Despite holiday period there was no problem with nearby overnight on-street car parking every day - as Mathieu had assured us.
Not bad, but not exceptional either. A small hotel with basic facilities. Clean room, free parking, nice staff and an overall good hotel a little bit outside of the city area.
St Vaast la Hougue is a very busy town especially in holiday time and La Granitiere was a short walk to the harbour but had ample off street parking which is a huge plus! The facilities were very good especially as we had a corner bath in our room (which we had requested) a big plus for my wife! We didn't have time for breakfast as we had to catch an early ferry from Cherbourg.
