I cannot praise our stay highly enough; it was good value for a quite beautiful property set in the peaceful rural idyll of northern France. The hosts were welcoming, gracious and attentive and the breakfast excellent. The rooms were charming and the beds comfortable.

Incredible place, one of a king. A HUGE garden where you can relax, enjoy. Never in my life I have been in a place like this. This is a classic house, so do no expect modern accommodations, but you will be more than compensate it if you want to be in such a wonderful environment.

If you love Contemporary Art, here is your chance to stay in the heart of Barbizon surrounded by fascinating sculptures, paintings and other forms of Conceptual and Installation Art. Upstairs and in an annex are five suites decorated with pieces from the museums collection. Our large room located above the museum had a large bath, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and windows that open overlooking the surrounding gardens and neighborhood. Breakfast is ordered the previous day and consists of fresh fruit, baked goods, yogurt and coffee which is brought to your room by a staff member. A couple of tight parking spaces are available at the rear of the property in addition to a large secluded public parking lot a block away.

This place was one of the cleanest we have ever seen! The property had everything we needed as the base for our holiday. We particularly liked the direct access to the shared garden and the peace and quiet of the location. Great for a break with our small dog who loved being able to access the garden. We even tried the bikes one day which was fabulous to see the French countryside from a different perspective.
