The photos show absolutely element of this lovely place and yet the parts do not really reveal the absolute brilliance of the whole. This place is stunning. A beautiful country manor in a really beautiful village in the Loire. It is pretty much equidistant between Blois and Loire but that is not the only great thing about the location. Montlivault is a gem of a village tucked away on the southern bank of the Loire. It has its own Michelin starred restaurant as well as a lovely boulangerie and epicerie and another restaurant. Oh and the pool and it’s pool house and bar are spectacular. Oh and the gym is great. Really lovely place to be. I also absolutely loved the decoration - not just comfortable (and it really was) but beautiful hand painted wallpaper and well picked furniture.

Great location just off the cycle path, in a pretty village just opposite an ancient church. Friendly service with superb food. Luckily they offered an evening meal option which was great as not many places open on Sundays...tricky if you arrive on bikes. The food was of the highest standard and the service was Friendly with a great ambiance. They also had a secure lock up for our bikes.

Superbe The host was very nice, we really liked our staying at his place. Breakfast was tasty, home made jam, very nice bread, croissant, fruit etc... The bedroom was cozy and we sleep very well. Advised by the host, we went 2 minutes away from his house to see the beautiful river landscape. Clos de la Ruche's architecture and decoration was also a plus+++ I recommend 100%
