Our stay at this property was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the immaculate cleanliness and tidiness of the entire place. Marie, our gracious host, truly went above and beyond in ensuring we had a wonderful stay. She was incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready with a warm smile and fantastic recommendations for local trips and visits that proved to be well worth our time.
The rooms were a highlight, being both light and spacious, providing a serene and comfortable environment. The bathrooms were equally impressive, offering ample space and modern amenities that added to the overall luxurious feel of our stay.
One of our favorite features was the charming courtyard. It was a delightful space to unwind and enjoy some leisure activities, including a game of pétanque.
Additionally, the property offers complimentary bike loans, complete with helmets, allowing visitors to explore the beautiful surroundings with ease and convenience.
The locally made apple juice, marmalade and honey offered with breakfasts were fantastic and showed a real sense of community within the areas.
Overall, this property exceeded all our expectations, thanks in large part to Marie’s outstanding hospitality and the well-maintained facilities. We can't wait to return for another stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

We've stayed here twice before. It's a convenient 1hr drive from Calais. Quiet, quirky rooms and plenty of parking. What is a little odd is the relationship with the hotel next door. This time, it's reception was also covering La Metarie. Not a problem unless it's raining , just a bit of a walk between the two establishments. Breakfast was served in the Hotel La Chatreuse. Dinner was served in its associated restaurant La Distillerie.
Easy to find, plenty of free car parking. Rooms are very quiet and very big. The rooms are verity large, comfortable and well appointed. The grounds are immaculate and it is worth a little wander through the gardens if you have time.
The hotel is really easy to find and is in a very quiet neighbourhood. There is plenty of secure parking and the entrance is attractive and impressive. Staff were attentive, polite and helpful. The room was quite grand with lovely furnishing - in an old chateau style. We used the restaurant on site (Le Robert II) and this was extremely good. The wine list was exceptional and the food beautifully presented and delicious.
Very large comfortable rooms with separate toilet and bathroom. Very efficient friendly and professional staff. Excellent choice of 3 restaurants. Pleasant bar with attentive service, It is very convenient as a stopover before heading back to the UK. Spacious secure parking

Impressive old building. Choice of three dining options on site. Good bar and plenty of room to relax in common parts. Choice of (French) magazines and newspapers. Good grounds for a short stroll including a very impressive kitchen garden. Only place I've ever stayed where the room was twice as high as it was wide - and it was quite wide! Good wifi Approx one hour from Calais without speeding, so a good first or last stop for a channel crossing. Close to the A26 autoroute. Plentiful onsite parking.
Staff picked up we were going to be too late for dinner and offered to plate up some cheese and leave it in the bar for us . They picked up messages through booking.com very well . easy secure parking- we have stayed several times before.
