Lovely central location in this small town. The rooms were very interesting and quirky, also very clean. The host Didou was very kind, and we managed to communicate ok even though our French is terrible (he doesn't speak much English). He ran to the supermarket especially to get me some gluten free bread which was much appreciated, and even helped with the suitcases up the stairs. We liked the pool table too!

The attention to detail of everything made our stay simply gorgeous. The bed is sublimely comfortable with beautiful linen bedding. The en-suite shower room is so cleverly designed with thoughtful touches and lovely toiletries and towels. The shower is a really good one with great pressure and piping hot water.
The heating was on so the cottage was very cosy during the evening and night and lovely and warm in the morning.
The lighting through out the cottage is subtle and gave a wonderful ambience.
The hostess was so lovely, she made us fresh Breton crepes for breakfast which were delicious.
The surrounding gardens and woodlands are graciously wild and add to the rustic charm of this delightful gites.
This is the best gites that we have stayed in, it’s simply stunning.

Good view of the lake from our room. The limited staff were pleasant and helpful although we were left with the impression that they realised what was on offer was below standard.

My 2nd visit - on my way back to Guernsey. Lovely welcome from Jaq & Dilou on a 7pm arrival. Private off-road (secure in drive) parking. Very clean and comfortable room with its own toilet and bathroom. A very peaceful night's sleep with nice bedding and TV etc. Close to Combourg and Dinan if you do fancy a dinner out etc.
Will always head here for my return trip back homewards - just a 30min drive to the ferry terminal in St Malo - grab some baguettes and croissants on the way for breakfast!🤗

Our room had a lovely view over the lake and we were very pleased to have shutters on the window as it was a very hot day. Free parking right outside the hotel was great.
The hotel is in a picturesq location next to the lake. The hotel is an old building therefore do not expect a lift. The location was excellent for bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were really friendly. It also has the added bonus, that if you're on a bike (be it motorbike or cycle), there is secure parking under the hotel so under cover, they also have a pole and hangers in case you need to dry out any outer gear.
It was a really peaceful place and we heard no noise
The hostess is a very nice person, so comunicative and helpful. The house is next to the church, positioned in a nice location. There is plenty of space for parking, right next to the house's fence. One piece of advice, pick the green room (the one with that wardrobe with mirrors) 🙂
A quiet hotel in a very pleasant situation. Our spacious room had a view over the lake. Nice ambience in the restaurant with attentive service and good food & wine list. Easy free parking.
