Wonderful old atmospheric solid hotel. Reception is through both the old wooden front door and an electronic glass internal door. Reception was staffed by the friendly, helpful and English speaking Benito. Downstairs is a very nice lounge, a dinning area and a seating area around a central staircase. Dark and cool with solid stone walls and beams and stuffed animals and trophy’s and the like. Stairs to a nice big room with a good sized balcony. The bed was big, clean and comfortable. Tele and all you need. The shower room was a good size and very clean and bright. Towels were good. I had walked there and in no fit state to go anywhere else. Benito offered to drive me to a restaurant! But, we settled on him driving to the supermarket and making me a salad dinner. With wine it was very good. Will stay again in the winter.

The room was nice. Beds were quite comfortable. It was good to have a shared kitchen area. The host is extremely friendly and helpful with advice on restaurants etc. There is parking available outside in the square. The location is very quiet.

Basic and clean. Immediate location wasn’t great, but only a twenty minute walk to the centre.

Hostal Oasis is a typical highway cafe with rooms. It is on the road, outside Fraga to the east. Plenty of parking on site, a standard room with en-suite, and a large bar-restaurant, which was nice and warm on a chilly 1st May evening. Outside was a terrace with tables and chairs (and some brave roses shaking in the breeze). In the morning the bar has reasonably-priced selections of breakfast options - the omelettes and tomato bread made a nice change from coffee and magdelanas

Reception. I rang and was greeted at the door by Patricia. Through a massive arched door and into a huge stone ‘hall’. All traditional and cobbles and. Probably where you put your cart and donkey. Amazing.
Upstairs to a fantastic living room, kitchen and various nooks! Big seating area with incredible views. Small kitchen has everything; even a kettle!
My bedroom was big and cool with two picture windows. One with fly screen one without. Again, wonderful views. Everything ‘antique’ and interesting. Good big bed. Clean throughout.
Shower Room is big and clean and cool. Good shower. Towels and gel provided.
Outside. There is a large ‘salon’ outside my room with two comfy chairs and a two seater sofa. Marvellous views! Lovely place to sit. There is a terrace downstairs.
District. A wonderful hamlet up the hills. Quiet and interesting. A day time restaurant 20 yards away with a friendly hostess, relaxed with good food. Not a lot here though. There is an amazing swimming pool; you can see it from the house. Opens June 24th like all municipal pools in Spain!
