The location is perfect. There were toys which our children enjoyed. The house was clean and relatively big although only one bathroom. The host was great and friendly.

Unique location with breathtaking view, and a wonderfull host! Altough it is a shared pool with the owners you have it to yourself at all times.
The tranquility and scenery of the location is incomparable. Makes a great location for day trips to the cava wine houses in Penedes, or to Montserrat. Only a few minutes drive from supermarket & town.
On top of that we had the opportunity to get a short tour with the owner, seeing the farm animals, vinyard & olive garden.

Ferran was extremely helpful and helped direct me to the property with the best route from Barcelona. On arriving, he met me and handed me the keys and sent me the location of the supermarket. The apartment was perfect and the town is beautiful - the perfect place to stay if you are planning on going hiking up Montserrat!

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The room had a spectacular view onto the monastery and wider vista (although I have seen that some people have not been so lucky and have instead faced the cliff face). Staying so close allows you to experience the monastery in the late evening before it closes without the crowds. Also, we were able to enjoy the sunrise with a short walk up to Michael's Cross which I would thoroughly recommend. Whilst there is no parking directly adjacent to the hotel, you can use the temporary space to drop your bags and then park for 14euros nearby.
Very close to the sights. Quiet, hostel (=alberg) & family room was in a youth hostel style, but fine and suitable for the night. Recently refurbished, small but very clean with a good shower. You can bring your own food and store it in a fridge in the community kitchen. Cooking there is also possible.
Nice lobby. Great breakfast buffet included.

Good to stay in Montserrat and definitely recommend to stay overnight. Being at the room gives a discount on the parking and the basilica entrance.
But may be choose the other hotel.
The breakfast was good. We had to check-in at another close-by hotel - it wasn't a problem. They did communicate this with me the day of. The location was great. The rooms are very simple but comfortable. Parking coordination was good.
Location can't be beat. And you get parking (albeit some distance away) which is otherwise a huge hassle. Understand that everything up there -- shops, restaurant (only one mediocre place, albeit with good service and excellent wine), cafeterias, hotel, apartments, hostel -- is under the same management. So if you want to stay up there - and really to appreciate one of the world's great holy places, you should -- you have to take what they offer and the apts. are the cheapest option.
We were greeted at the car park by a white butterfly coming in through our car window. The monastery location is fabulous. The views are stupendous. The church is stunning. The sense of peace is deep. The humming-bird moths feeding on the geraniums outside our bedroom window were charming.
dinner was very nice, many vegetarian options, very attentive and friendly service. we did not try breakfast. as other people have commented, it is quite a walk from the parking, so would definitely recommend to use the option to drive up to the hotel for luggage unloading.
