A huge house and garden, once used by priests and restored over many years by two families. Not surprisingly, the history of the place is very present. The bedroom was large, clean and comfortable and the bathroom modern. The well known local restaurant was closed the day we were there, but we knew this in advance and Rosa had us a menu from which she would prepare an evening meal for us to eat alone in the courtyard, with a bottle of wine. Both were delicious. Rosa speaks good English, which was a great help and she was a great host. It was a really interesting place to stay.

Our stay at this spacious villa was fantastic! The vintage touch from the 1980s gave it character, and it was impeccably clean and comfortable. Our two dogs loved the garden, and the central heating made it extra cozy during winter. Pedro, our host, was exceptionally friendly and attentive.

Location was perfect place to stop after walking the camino route from Monforte de Lemos.
