Great hotel in the centre of a beautiful town. Good sized rooms, big comfortable bed and friendly staff. They have a garage around the corner to store our bikes. Because it’s in the heart of the town, it can’t be helped that the traffic noise starts early. We really enjoyed our stay.
Set in the village of Leitza, Hostal Musunzar features rooms with free Wi-Fi, a Basque restaurant and a communal lounge area. It offers an ideal country setting for hiking and cycling.

It was spotlessly clean. The staff behind the bar were so helpful and kind. Use of google translate was great!

Very easy to find and park around.
Nice and spacious room that was clean.
We even had two small capsules of coffee to uso in a machine outside, where there’s also a micro wave.
Also could easily check-in even when the reception was closed (arriving after 8PM).

Missing vegetables on the breakfast. Nothing in the minibar, not even cold water. Breakfast area not cosy, feeling of a conference area.

Fab hotel interiors. Room was nice, restaurant was really good
The all inclusive breakfast was €20 per person per day but this was pay as you go, or you could order off the menu so was good to have options.
There is a bar area, and pool terrace which serves food all day and it’s very good.
It’s just over 10 min drive from main area of San Sebastián or there is a bus.

Wonderful rural location high above Urnieta. The room was very comfortable with well appointed bathrooms and was serviced daily. The €8 breakfast was incredible. Each day you didn’t know what treats you would get. Despite us having no Spanish, our interactions with the host were friendly and with Google translate we communicated effectively. The location is about 20 mins from San Sebastián with easy highway access. We walked one of the farm walks that had clear signage and awesome views. There is a local restaurant 250m away where we enjoyed a lovely fresh cod dinner.
We recommend this retreat.
