We arrived at Quito Airport late in the afternoon. It is a short trip by taxi to the lodge. The colonial style main building an some of the guest houses resemble a museum. Our room was large and comfortable. The night was quiet as the main road ist in some distance and no planes fly during the night. And in the daytime its only about two planes an hour. The garden and the reserve are peaceful and great for seeing birds and offer some short but partly steep trails. The restaurant has indoor and garden seating. Very friendly staff. Perfect for a first or last stop in Ecuador.

The location is very convenient to the airport yet it is a beautiful garden setting. The host was wonderful and very gracious.

The grounds were outstanding! The rooms were gorgeous. It felt like we were out in the country! 1/2 hour from the airport. Well worth it!

Property was like a dream. Ilamas roaming about the lush, well maintained grounds. Tennis court, games, children’s playground and the lovely outdoor swimming pool make it great for families. I was a solo traveller for leisure but it appears to be set up well for conventions. The room was large and faced the beautiful grounds. Very comfortable office set up too. I was just staying for one night but wished I could stay longer. Airport shuttle starts at 4am and they packed me a nice breakfast as I couldn’t be there when it was served. A lovely dinner of roast pork and a waiter who put a lot of effort into ensuring I understood the menu and enjoyed the meal.

We love this hostel. Super close to the airport and the shuttle will pick you up and drop you off. Breakfast is good. And they speak English.

Fantastic place so close to airport.Comfortable beds and great size rooms and very quiet location.Two lovely little dogs to greet you,Ollie and max with their smiley faces.Our hosts were just lovely and could not do enough for us.Even had English breakfast and earl grey tea available which was lovely after a busy day.

Exceptional place to meet people. View of Quito from the terrace is lovely, especially at night. Staff were very friendly.
