Check in at a different location (2 min walk) but it was very easy. The hotel was very nice, clean and quiet. We booked two rooms, one for my wife and I, and the second for my two daughters. Both rooms were very roomy, we had plenty of space for our luggages. For breakfast we ordered eggs, and coffee was served promptly. Selections for breakfast was very good. I wanted to have a beer after checking in so they had set up a fridge with beer and water at the hotel. This is on an honour system, we were able to enjoy the beverage and pay the next morning. Very convenient - we thank them for this!

The location is central to the region, so many places are in reach by car in a short time, while being in a very quiet and peaceful place. You’ll get a view of forests and fields. It’s very family friendly. Our room was pretty big, with a couch, table, balcony with chairs, a small kitchen, fridge and a full bathroom. Breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of cheeses, hams, breads, yoghurt, fruit, your choice of egg style, coffee kettle, tea, milk, etc. I’d recommend Rothenburg of course, also an afternoon or dinner at Colmberg Burg, Waldgasthof Wildbad, a visit to the Falcon show at Schillingsfürst and a visit to Dinkelsbühl.
