Furthermore, the host Mr Lothar Sommer is an ornithologist, we have in common the love for birds. And someone who is devoted to the care of birds can only be a good person and a gentleman. If you live in a town and have children who do not have much contact with nature, then Pension Sommer has that something extra, your children will be amazed to be in close contact with exotic birds. To sum up, if what you want is a peace&quiet countryside stay, then Pension Sommer comes as highly recommended.

Charming hotel connected to a village pub. Very welcoming team. Breakfast was delicious. Would have liked to have spent more time there. Conveniently located south of Berlin it was perfectly placed to break my journey from Poland to Frankfurt am Main. Very quiet room.

This was a beautiful hotel. The treelined drive to the location, the well kept grounds and the super cozy room and soft bed was delightful. They even has some bunnies, goats, frogs, fish and chickens the kids loved to watch. We loved this location and the views. The breakfast was delicious and they even made us some special hot chocolate for the kids. This is great place to stop if you are on your way to Berlin or Tropical Islands resort.

I liked pretty much everything, the room is great, spacious, very clean, the bed is comfy and very clean, overall the room was great. The breakfast room was also great, they were great with my dog. Very nice hosts. Lovely garden also! It is a very calm area.
