The hosts are really nice and making sure you are comfortable. Also really appreciated the arrangement of a food and drinking bowl for our dog. Amy is a great host, and was immediately willing to help with any request we had. We also received from her snacks for the kids and a bottle of wine for us, so her generosity is a major advantage in making a happy and convenient stay. The location is great both for the black forest and for Switzerland, the parking is free and private, and the price is amazing! The beds were comfortable though we didn't try the sofa-bed. The kitchen and dining area are small yet every need is met and we cooked every morning and every evening, occasionally eating outside in the private garden. Highly recommended!!

Our room had a nice balcony where it was a pleasure to sit. Breakfasts are ok, dinners in the restaurant were great. If you like hiking or biking, this location is just marvelous - there are many interesting routes in every direction. And with a short car ride you can reach a few amusements park that'll be interesting for children.
