The staff were welcoming and even comped my breakfast. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great and had a variety of hot and cold options. Also there were plenty of activities for a family, with a pool, playground, volleyball and table tennis.

The people running the place are amazing (communication was really easy because most of them spoke foreign languages fluently - including English, German and Italian 😊). They also have an Italian cook who prepares delicious meals. The outdoor swimming pool can be used even if it rains (it can be closed with a special roof). The location is just fantastic and if you do not want to travel, there's always mini golf to play and lots of other fascilities (for example bowling).

First of all, I can only say that this accommodation was absolutely perfect for our needs and we would definitely stay there again. We loved the surroundings. It is close to Turnov, where you can find all facilities needed, such as supermarkets or banks. It is one of the last houses in the hills next to the forest. Therefore, it is very quiet. Our 8 and 10-year-old children could safely play in the garden behind the house, right next to the forest. There is a play area and other games we could freely use. Even extras, like table tennis bats or badminton rackets, are provided. The house is surrounded by a fence, and parking is on the drive. The facilities are absolutely outstanding. There is everything one could or might want: the kitchen is fully equipped; there is a hair dryer in the bathroom, a drying rack in the cupboard, a fireplace for heating, slippers in the hall, info material and games for children. We didn't miss anything. The cleanliness was excellent throughout. There is no TV, but the wifi was working without problems, so we could stream movies if we wanted. One important thing to us was that we could pay by card, because we didn't want to take out CZK. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They were available by phone or in person. Communication was excellent already before getting to the accommodation. We were called in advance and offered an upgrade at no extra cost, because the bigger room was available at the time.

Friendly staff, big garden where you can sit and order some beers. Convenience store within walking distance and at the station. Good base for hiking the bohemian paradise even without a car (we did not have one). Just reaching Prachovsky skaly takes a bit. Decent breakfast can be ordered on site.

The owner says - this is just a common appartment. But we have found there all we demanded and needed. Its location is a definitive advantage. The other benefit is a super friendly and supportive host who is always ready to provide assistance if needed or to share recommendations where to go and not miss anything from the beauty of Cesky Raj. More to say - we were welcomed with traditional home made loaf of bread and salt :-) We have spent here four unforgetable days … and shall come back sometime definitely!

The property is perfect for a Bohemian Paradise getaway. Public transport is available. Fantastic walks through lush forests.
