Definitely recommended to come here and connect with nature - as the place is located between a beautiful, not crowded beach and the jungle which you can see from the rooms. The place and the people working there are exceptional. Maria, Jose and the staff in general were super kind and helpful in every situation. I rarely write reviews but I feel like this place deserves it. It is very common for things to be rated 5/5 or 10/10 on Google Maps/Booking/Airbnb etc. This place however really does deserve a 10 out of 10. For me and my partner this was the most amazing place we have ever stayed at in our lives. I am definitely coming back here and will recommend it whole wholeheartedly to friends and family.

Incredible location close to a private beach. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful and always went above and beyond. Accommodation is spacious, clean and comfortable and the bed was excellent. We enjoyed delicious cocktails and homely cooking from the kitchen.

Wonderful small hotel in secluded tropical location with view of river. Room was large and had screens to let the warm breeze through. Amazing pool! Property is close to Tayrona Park entrance, also walkable to picturesque beach and bar. They also arranged activities with local guides. Highly recommend this hotel.

Casa Xue had only been open for a month when we stayed so we weren't sure what to expect but it far exceeded our expectations! The location is beautiful and very easy to access from the public bus (which can let you off right in front of the driveway at Mile 36 if you're coming from Santa Marta). The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed (refrigerator, balcony, AC). The staff was very attentive and welcoming. The thing that really pleasantly surprised us was how exceptional the food was! We ate 5 meals here and they were all delicious. We even asked for sandwiches to go when we were leaving because we knew it would be better than anything on the road. Since there is only one person cooking at each meal time, the food does take a while but this actually ended up being lovely because we chatted with other guests from all over the world while we waited and enjoyed tasty cocktails.
