We had an excellent time, and the hotel was wonderful with a seaview that was absolutely exquisite, beautiful. I have traveled to many places, and this was our first time in Dali, China. What a great experience. I am already planning to return, and I can honestly say that our stay was UNPARALLELED! To say the least, it was refreshing to see such kindness, care, attentiveness, professionalism, and overall joyful demeanor from the entire staff. The activities and nearby restaurants were excellent, and I must mention that the sunset at the local coffee cafe was breathtaking and a must do local attraction. The hotel serves breakfast, tea, and evening treats that were all delicious. Overall, the Dali Oriental Seaview Hotel surpassed my expectations and was a positive, memorable difference in making our journey away from home filled with good times, happy memories, and nice excursions The stay was uniquely welcoming, fun, and relaxing all at the same time. I located the unparalleled Dali Oriental Seaview Hotel on Booking.com, which was a good thing since the hotel is hidden away in a manner that you would not imagine. There may be a few steps to climb, but there is a small elevator, and good things are often revealed in different ways. All this to say, thank you, to the hotel, for sharing this hidden gem. Our host was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the area and helped us plan our itinerary. Very accommodating and calm. The atmosphere was peaceful and we had an amazing time. I wished we stayed longer because it was truly a spectacular and zen experience. The tea that our host brews is also tasteful! I don't think we can replicate that taste even with the same leaves.

We stayed at the room with a spa bath and it was such a pleasure. There are not many properties like this in Dali, and this one is located just in the ancient town, which is perfect and cozy. The interior of the hotel matches the turn style, the area is super quiet and peaceful. Also the mountain is visible from the window (and from the bathtub) Highly recommended!

The hotel has a beautiful view of Erhai. I could see Erhai from my bed. The small hotel was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was delicious. The owners and staff were amazing. The owner helped all new guest take beautiful pictures with Erhai. They helped me with using Alipay, WeChat Apps for making payments, ordering taxi and deliveries. The owner even drove me to the bank and helped me put money in my WeChat Wallet so I could continently make payments with WeChat for the rest of my trip in Yunnan. I highly recommend this small hotel to anyone.
