Beautiful ancient house. The rooms are spacious and comfortable (equipped with electric blankets, which we appreciated in cold December!). Very warm welcome from the hosts, delicious food and a lot of activities available to discover the surroundings. We will be back!

Secret Garden Yangshuo, Jiuxian Village, is a wonderful place near the dragon river and moon bridge. Great menu and staff are super friendly and kind. Can arrange pickup from airport or station for a reasonable fee!

I had the most fantastic stay in Serene Cove - I was incredibly sad to leave - the place is super beautiful, the food is delicious, the couple who own the place are very friendly, helpful, lent me a bike, made amazing cakes, helped me learn Chinese and I would have loved to stay longer.

Loved the laid back vibe of the village and the hotel. I was after a retreat from the city and that’s exactly what I got, didn’t want to leave! 老张 is very hospitable - always checking if you’re hungry and then will whip something up in the kitchen. Another guest that arrived said they wanted to hike some of the nearby hills so 老张 was like, ‘let’s go!’ and took us - the entrance is through someone else’s kitchen/back garden so we’d never have got access ourselves. He also mentioned he could take us to places to swim, climb etc. Really love the village atmosphere, everyone knows each other and knows the secret routes/best food spots. Reminded me of my rural village community in the UK. I was able to borrow 老张‘s road bike and cycled to the river to catch one of the rafts, it’s about a ~30min leisurely cycle to get there. There are cycle/foot paths along the river too, so another nice way to experience the scenery. The hotel itself is very quaint. I had one of the Japanese style single rooms and was very happy there, it looks exactly like the picture. They will pre-heat the bed for you in the colder months, nice touch! Water, tissues, towel etc all provided. The toilets and showers are just downstairs, a 10 second walk, and are very pleasant. The toilets are the Japanese ones with heated seats etc. The other helper is also lovely, and she packed my rucksack with fresh pomelo when I set off for my cycle excursion. They grow pomelo etc. beside the house, and also have chickens so eggs fresh too. Loved the rooftop, very zen and great view over the hills. They also have some friendly cats. Will 100% return.

This was our favorite stay in China. Not only Yangshuo is a special place but this hotel and the staff at Tea Cozy are also special. Located in a quiet area, Tea Cozy is a true gem. The hotel has been carefully and beautifully decorated. The room was massive! The bed was big and comfy. Lovely bathroom and bathtub! Toiletries are supplied and the rooms are cleaned everyday. Can’t fault this place. Very good breakfast with a western and Chinese menu. It was great to have a choice. The hotel has a beautiful pool outside and the scenery around is amazing. The tea ceremony is interesting and very informative. There are bikes for rent and the staff is always there to help you planning your route and help with any information. Richard, Suzy, Hannah and River are a wonderful team! Thank you for the kind hospitality. If you have the chance to stay here, please do so. It is so much better in person than the photos.

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst en verblijf. Achter het hotel bevinden zich een aantal wandelroutes waar je zeer mooie foto's kunt maken. Het personeel was ook zo vriendelijk om mij rijles te geven zodat ik met een gehuurde scooter door het platteland kon scheuren. Al met al heb ik een zeer aangenaam verblijf gehad.

De eigenaren van het hotel Sammie en Eric, geven je een warm welkom, waardoor je je hier meteen thuis voelt. Bovendien staan zij 24/7 ter beschikking om je te helpen met de huur van vervoer, het regelen van tickets, het adviseren over eten en het aanbevelen van restaurants. Het hotel is een oase, waar het prettig "thuis" komen is, na een dag activiteit. De tuin aan het hotel biedt voldoende plekjes om even rustig te ontspannen.De locatie van het hotel is perfect om de prachtige omgeving te voet, per fiets of per electroscooter te ontdekken. De accomodatie beschikt tevens over een wasmachine, wat voor ons als backpackers een fijne bijkomstigheid was. Mochten wij ooit hier terugkeren dan kiezen wij zeker voor Eden Inn.

The hotel is very sweet and the rooms are comfortable. The location is very near the river, and it is easy to rent a bicycle, scooter, or set up a rafting ride. Si Jie was very nice and helped us with everything we needed. Thank you!
