After a long day touring on our motorbikes, the Hotel Furka offered a welcome refuge for the night. From the moment we walked in, we were made welcome. The hotel rooms were modern and very comfortable with an excellent shower in the ensuite. We were able to park our motorbikes safely in a locked garage and had a great dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast was included in the room price and was a continental buffet with warm fresh bread available. We awoke to a snow storm and were grateful our bikes were safely stored overnight.
The alpine-style Hotel Alpenhof is situated at the edge of the forest in Oberwald, at the foot of the Grimsel and Furka passes. It offers free WiFi and free parking.

Apartment was a good size, clean, very light and comfortably furnished. Enjoyed the small touches such as Nespresso machine and capsules available and the Flatscreen TV was good. Location was easy walking distance to local supermarket, train station and walking trails.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Truly friendly and fun atmosphere, great restaurant, cozy interior, nice views. Underground parking for motorcycles! The neighbourhood is a neat and authentic village. Breakfast is continental classical and delicious. The cherry on top of the cake is local beer Eichhof.
Fantastic location with fantastic owner hosts who greeted us personally on the car park as we arrived. Everything was excellent and the food was outstanding.
Beautiful room with balcony overlooking the mountains and fields. Quiet location. Large safe car park. Really friendly hosts and great dinner and breakfast. We were also invited/included to join locals to watch the European Cup that was on that night hosted by the owners. They were great.

Secure parking for our motorcycles and a very warm welcome, followed by a quick and simple check in. Dinner in the restaurant was amazing and the after dinner drinks at the bar chatting to the owner was very good. Comfortable, spacious and clean rooms.

What a find ! Tucked away in a small village, a Chalet style hotel ran by a very freindly Dutch guy. Very Motorcycle and bicycle friendly, secure underground parking under the hotel. Fine evening meal in the hotel too.
