Charming hotel right in Barry's Bay. Hotel owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was really clean and the bed was comfy. Great value as rooms are newly renovated. Cool shower curtain in the room. We will be back!

Everything! The accommodations where spectacular! The bed was really comfortable. The location of the cottage nestled in the forest was so peaceful. There are many fun things to do in the area, hiking trails, swimming, venturing into nearby towns and taking in all that nature has to offer. Lisa and Ian provided everything we needed for a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this off the grind oasis! I will definitely visit Barkview Hideaway again!

there is false advertising on there photos
upon reading reviews after I booked I realized I was not the only one who booked this place expecting it to be on a lake. I strongly recommend that the host delete all the lake photos

By far the best location in Berry Bay for hotel accommodations. Parking was ample and staff were friendly. Uniquely, this was the TV experience of my hotel life! It’s often overlooked, but hotel TVs are huge contributing factor to comfort. Too often they’re confusing and inconvenient. After a long trip my partner and I really appreciated the ease in navigating.
