Everything! The accommodations where spectacular! The bed was really comfortable. The location of the cottage nestled in the forest was so peaceful. There are many fun things to do in the area, hiking trails, swimming, venturing into nearby towns and taking in all that nature has to offer. Lisa and Ian provided everything we needed for a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this off the grind oasis! I will definitely visit Barkview Hideaway again!

I have done a lot of motorcycle trips this summer and stayed in various places. By far this has been the best. If I could have given it higher marking I would have. Yes it’s not a new building but that’s the charm of it. And you couldn’t ask for a better host. The friendliest person you will ever meet. Fantastic place. Much bigger than I expected. The location was amazing as well, so close to so many hiking paths and lakes. The house also had tons of amenities such as cooking and bathroom supplies that I did not expect.
