In a very nice location and quiet with good views from the balcony. Breakfast was great, especially because of the homemade jams. There are a fair amount of outdoorsy activities in the immediate surroundings. Staff/owners quite friendly and accommodating.

The location was amazingly peaceful. The only sounds were the wind in the trees and the cow bells in the distance. The house itself was quaint with evidence of the artist's touch of the owner everywhere. The mild temperatures during our summer visit were great for exploring some of the many trails, meandering through the forests.

The breakfast was OK. The staff refilled the buffet table appropriately. It was close (but far enough to be silent) to Klagenfurt and the Worther lake. A lot of hiking possibilities. One of the employees could speak Hungarian, which was unexpected and therefore absolutely positive.

Ideal stopover in Kaernten on the way to the Loiblpass and Slovenia. I stayed for just two nights but this would make an ideal base for a week or longer, providing one had transport. Friendly staff and excellent food, comfortable room.
