The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. The location was picturesque and overall incredibly pleasant to look around at. The property itself is very well maintained, truly delivers the classic ryokan experience, onsen are amazing and very enjoyable, the staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful. The food was something else - both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast were delicious, filling and a great pleasure to partake in. Overall, would highly recommend, I had a blast staying at Kadojin.

A beautiful hotel with wonderful onsen facilities. The room we booked was right size for two of us. We did enjoy the onsen and the complimentary snacks. Their staff was friendly, attentive and easy to communicate. Will stay here again in our next visit to Nara.

We arrived a little early for check-in but we used the complementary massage chairs while we waited. Perfect after a day of walking! It is located only 100-200m from the main shopping areas where we went out for dinner. The path to and from the Ryokan has a beautiful pond which reflects the lights that surround it. Just amazing after a great dinner! The beds were very comfy and warm, the amenities were great and it was very quiet at night. What more could you want? We would definitely come here again!!
