Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nara Natural Hot Spring is set in Nara, within 500 metres of Nara Station and 18 km of Iwafune Shrine. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Private parking is available on site.

Room was exceptionally spacious, clean and well-equipped. The (interior) onsen was really good - I bathed three times and I enjoyed the entire bath with 2 locals (no one spoke a thing, so quiet) at any one time. One cannot ask for more for a hotel just 1 min walk from JR station, with multiple supermarkets/grocery stores/restaurants next to it. Most people would stay in Kyoto and come to Nara for a day trip. They should do the other way round. Unlike Kyoto hotels, the staff here have exceptionally good manners and all spoke reasonable to good English. The staff really made a big difference!

Only a 1-minute walk from the east exit of JR Nara Train Station, the modern Super Hotel Lohas boasts a natural hot-spring bath and a breakfast with fresh-baked bread. Rooms offer free wired internet and a video-on-demand system. Free WiFi is available.

From outside it doesn't look very inviting, but the room we got was bigger as expected with everything you need for the stay. It is only one minute away from the station, though quiet in the room and you won't get wet in case it is raining. They offer free coffee and an onsen! And it is just amazingly priced.

This place was exactly what I was looking for. A quiet ryokan with a private tattoo-friendly onsen. My room was big and the futon was very comfy. I appreciated the complimentary water and a kettle to make tea. Everything was so good, thank you! I will definitely come back.

Simply decorated, all rooms are carpeted and feature air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, electric kettle and refrigerator. Guests can unwind on the bed and watch TV. Some rooms have a private bathroom including a shower, hairdryer, slippers and high-tech toilet.

This is a very excellent Hotel, with the most convenient location of any hotel that I have experienced in Japan, just one short block from the Jr Nara train station. From the train station, buses can take you anywhere that you would want to go in the Nara area, and to me, the Nora area is the best and most important sightseeing in Japan. The breakfast is excellent, as are the rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Looking for a property with onsen?

Featuring traditional Japanese hot springs known as "onsen," these hotels offer a relaxing soak in therapeutic, geothermal waters. Traditionally onsens were located outdoors, but a number of hotels now offer indoor facilities for private or shared use. The healing properties of each onsen will vary depending on its location, with "kuroyu" black water famous for its positive effects on skin.

Checkin was smooth & you can choose your private 45 mins Onsen time. The Onsen is small but cozy with the necessary amenities. Plenty restaurants nearby and there is one nice cafe just a few steps away from Nara Ryokan. The food was delicious & price reasonable.

Very luxurious Ryokan very close to the deer park which allowed us to explore the nicest area of Nara in the evening as well as early morning. The dinner was exceptional and they went above and beyond to meet dietary wishes. We had the room with private onsen which is definitely a recommendation! It was quite expensive but our best stay of the trip! The staff was very friendly too
