For those of use who enjoy an onsen this hotel and the others in this chain offer a great onsen in the middle of town. The facilities include a sauna and a cold plunge pool. We enjoyed the onsen facilities so much we went early in the morning, late afternoon and again before bed. Combined with the free ice cream lollies between 15.00 and midnight and you have a winner. We will be basing our next trip around these hotels.
Offering indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and saunas, Kikunan Onsen Yubel Hotel features rooms with free wired internet access.

The staff changed our room because it was very noisy- due to so many families staying over a long weekend . The staff very kindly upgraded us free of charge to a bigger much quieter room. Access to the spa next door was great.
Featuring a private open-air bath, Ryokan Yayanoyu is located in Ueki. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.

Very nice and pleasant service. Very welcoming staff
Featuring traditional Japanese hot springs known as ‘onsen’, these hotels allow you to take a relaxing soak in therapeutic geothermal waters. Traditionally, onsens were located outdoors but a number of hotels also offer indoor facilities for private or shared use. The healing properties of each onsen will vary depending on its location, with ‘kuroyu’ black water known for its positive effects on skin.
very clean and quiet hotel. facilities such onsen and free udon or free ice creams are a positive advantage.
the location is very close (1min walk) from bus terminal and few minutes from castle
Location is good nearly location train and Tram, you could go to your Ryokanim multiple way. The Owner and staff very helpful. He help me for travel to Aso volcano. without his help I count not go to Aso volcano at all. The room is comfortable
The location is fantastic. The room was very clean. It offers a public indoor onsen. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. It has a self service locker storage facility. Will definitely come back to this lovely hotel if I am coming to Kumamoto again.
