Featuring traditional Japanese hot springs known as "onsen," these hotels offer a relaxing soak in therapeutic, geothermal waters. Traditionally onsens were located outdoors, but a number of hotels now offer indoor facilities for private or shared use. The healing properties of each onsen will vary depending on its location, with "kuroyu" black water famous for its positive effects on skin.
The location is superior, it is just below the ski lift. Rooms are new and nice, bathroom - very clean with new equipment. They have breakfast and you also can have supper there. The food is good and tasty. We enjoyed the pool. The hotel has Parking, but it is not free, 8 euro per day.
The wifi connection was really good - much better than at home or in my office.
The bathroom was lovely, very clean with a powerful shower.
The kitchen was also really clean

Keep your skiis in the ski locker by the lift as the steps are a killer in the morning.
Maria was a fabulous host. She made us feel very special and looked after us very well. We had a beautiful suite and the bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get out of it in the mornings! It was very clean and the breakfasts were delicious, and plentiful. We would highly recommend Eira Ski Lodge. Book it and you won’t regret it!
