Plan to come back and experience the place and beach at different times of the year. Highly recommend the Moonstone… amazing touches (big and small). They “wrote” Moonstone on the blanket at the end of the bed the way people write in the sand on the beach! It was a shake my head moment when I realized. So very considerate of the dog-lovers out there…. All the lower rooms allow dogs, and have a basket of gear to make the stay more comfortable and a welcome treat! Love the dunes, and the grass-strewn paths, and the viewing chairs. So incredibly peaceful to sit on the deck with a hot coffee cradled in your hands, sitting in comfie deck chairs. And you will leave rich… in sand dollars! Soooooo many! Can’t wait to return!

Manager very friendly along with cat greeter outside! Manager was able to round up a bedside lamp for my mom. Cabin was very clean. Would stay there again. Quiet sleep.

Easy parking and great pub, with wonderful staff and tasty food.

Featuring rooms with free Wi-Fi, this Ilwaco, Washington motel is across the street from Louis & Clark Discovery Trail. Boat parking is available onsite and sports fishing is accessible from the property. It was much better staying here than on the main street in Long Beach. Very friendly welcome. Warm, comfortable, clean and a good shower. And Ilwaco is very interesting, look around the working harbour and go to the Lewis and Clark interpretive center. We went up there, but couldn’t find it but the scenery was beautiful. To say again, our hosts were great.
