At The Starlight Motor Inn the rooms have bed linen and towels. It is a cute and nostalgic place that I found to be perfect for a stop during a road trip. The rooms were clean and had a charming retro-style, which added to the overall experience. The room and shower was big with lots of natural lights. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable stay during their travels.

Reading all these reviews made me sort of…. worried about this place but honestly we didn’t experience any of them! Our stay was very pleasent, it was quite, we could take a good rest. The room was clean, wouldn’t say spotless but was perfect for 2 nights. Neighbours were respectful, we haven’t seen any “sketchy” people either. I personally recommend this place! :-)

Like it was near airport and I was greeted by staff who knew I was arriving after 11pm. Comfortable room for a weary traveller needing a good rest. Reception allowed me to leave my cases at reception if I needed it after checking out.

If the hotel is under renovation, they should close it during renovation or inform clients before we book it. We paid full price for a below average motel.
The pond and floating docks are truly relaxing features. The motel provides lake side seating, too.
Real nice retro-style Motel, with great people, a wonderful bar (yes, a bar!) and a nice small pool.
The property has changed ownership and has changed the name. Was previously a Motel 6. I stayed there once before the property had changed hands and it was horrible- I would not have stated that location again had I realized it was the same property but just to change the name.. It has very much improved. I would stay there again. The location and the price is definitely worth it and they have cleaned up overall exterior, and made improvements in the room, cleanliness and fresh upgrades.
Nice location at the end of Charleston. New makeover. Little outpost on the river. Yes I assume there a alligators in it. Easy and free parking well illuminated.
Nothing. This was a terrible experience, from sleeping in essentially a dirty motel to a dirty breakfast. This was all around terrible
I only stayed for one night and spent very little time here, but it served my purposes well enough. The breakfast was motel-buffet quality, nothing special but did the job just fine. The location was off the highway outside of Charleston, which made it easy to get to, but difficult to get anywhere else unless you were driving, which only became a problem once I realised how frustrating parking in Charleston is when a section of streets are closed for an event. Not the fault of the Inn, of course, just my poor planning and bad time management!
Location was good for visiting Mount Pleasant area and also it is a fairly easy drive into Charleston. Free parking on site.
The breakfast was decent, the room was large and comfortable, the staff was helpful and nice. free parking available room had a fridge and microwave. Also a desk to get some work done. Happy with the choice.
Great breakfast. Great location in a wonderful city. A block from King Street, the lovely shopping street, and a short walk to neighborhoods. The staff were lovely and friendly and went the extra miles for us ( after two weeks on the road, we’d gone through our clean clothes and they did a wash for us). Free parking on site. Great wifi, comfortable beds.
