Liked everything! Exceptionally clean, has everything that you would need in the kitchen, toilet was separate from the shower which is very convenient, separate bedroom, large and comfortable room at a very reasonable price. what else can you ask for?!

We liked everything. It's hard to summarize how perfect this place is. The location, the parking, the view, the comfort of the room, the fact that it was heated for us before we arrived, the comfort of the bed, the quality of the shower, and even the good coffee and the two Hershey kisses on the bed. Perfect. Don't miss this!
Lovely motel, great location. Tess was very lovely and welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped and was great to have electric blankets, as it was fairly cold at night, the rooms also have radiators so again was nice to have those to keep warm in winter. Would definitely stay again if around that area.
Stunning view, and well thought gardens with lots of native plants. The birdlife - swallows, waxeyes, fantails and dunnocks right by our deck. And the motel cat, Murdoch (hopefully she doesn't catch them).
The motel was very comfortable, located close to all facilities in Owaka. The hotel was homely and had all facilities we needed. We were greeted with fresh muffins by the proprietor who ensured the unit was to our liking. Heating was more than adequate for the weather. Given other accommodation options in the Catlins were scarce, we were more than happy to find such a good motel.
Then motel was clean, comfortable, quite & enjoyed our 2 night's stay.
Great location to explore the Caitlins from. Local bar had nice food and good coffee cart by the beach.

The motel was older style but immaculately clean and comfortable. It was very well equipped with a great kitchen and everything you could need for a short stay. The area was convenient and check in/ check out process was easy and no problem. The value for money was excellent.
