Great location. Spacious comfortable rooms. Well manicured gardens, enough sitting and relaxing areas around the property. We enjoyed the pool area as well, water temperature, enough towels and lounging chairs. Breakfast was great and all the staff were warm and welcoming. Ample free parking in the property. They were kind enough to allow us to check in early.
The location was great. Near shops and restaurants. However, the hotel is overpriced. It is essentially a cleaned up Motel 6 or EZ-8. This should be priced at $100 per night max, not $165.
The breakfast buffet was amazing. That made it worth it alone. They also have a small convenience section to buy food at any time which was nice. Pretty nice gym for a hotel. I never made it back in time but the complimentary happy hour every night would have been fun. The rooms have a view on both ends of room since they are set up like a motel instead of hotel. The room balcony was pretty neat as well. Lastly, they have a restaurant/bar on site which was nice.
This location is exceptionally good for Motel 6. It is in a premium area of Scottsdale. They are on the expensive side for their brand, but it's for a very good reason.
I travel with an a snoopy, young schnauzer, and the clean, hard floors in a Motel 6 never give her any reason to mark. It is the best motel for the pup in your life!
Shhhh- this is the best kept secret in Scottsdale! Located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, this clean, friendly, comfortable motor lodge charges a fraction of what other chain hotels charge you, and has a better location. Park your car and walk everywhere in Old Town. The office staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room is updated, bed comfortable, it's quiet (with the air con running) and there is a decent pool.
