Located in downtown La Grande, Oregon, this motel is just 0.9 miles from Eastern Oregon University. It serves a continental breakfast every morning and features free Wi-Fi access.

The front desk at Royal Motor Inn is staffed 24 hours a day. The motel is air-conditioned.

They don't really offer a breakfast. Just some overly ripe bananas and basic coffee. I like how clean the room is, and how responsive the front desk people are. This hotel is a 180 from that dump down the street The La Grande Inn, which was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The Royal Motor Inn is run by a very kind and attentive couple. I had an issue with my desk chair and they addressed it immediately. The room is spotless and comfortable. It's an older hotel and shows some age, but the owners really put their best foot forward to make it a great stay! I heartily recommend it, and the location for access to downtown La Grande absolutely cannot be beat!

The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. It was quiet. We were glad to find a place to stop overnight that allowed us to stay with our little dog. It was very easy find the motel--easy on and off the freeway. The person there was very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations.

People were very friendly, the motel Itself was dated but very clean and the little added extras such as the popcorn and the variety of coffee and teas was much appreciated! Would definitely stay again!

It's an old motel but it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We were able to park right outside the room so that was nice. The desk person was efficient and friendly.

The motel looks normal from the outside. The room was quite nice and clean. Price performance is really good, maybe also because there is not that much to do. For us, a perfect location with friendly personal to a fair price on our way to Seattle.

Breakfast was a typical motel breakfast, with the possibility of toasting frozen waffles. There was yogurt (good), pastries (so-so), cold cereal and milk, coffee, tea, juice, fruits etc. and a microwave so that we could heat our leftovers. I liked that the indoor pool was open 24/7.

This is a well furnished, fully capable motel with everything one needs and everything of perfect quality. The room is compact, but feels airy. The amenities are in perfect order, ready to use. We also saw deer in the evening grazing on the lawn.

More cable channels than I've ever seen at a motel/hotel. Free bag of microwave popcorn. Lots of space to walk your dog.
