    We didn’t like the motel as we booked a non-smoking room and the room smelled horribly of cigar smoke. When I called the front desk I was informed there was nothing that could be done. The following morning I saw the manager of the motel smoking cigars near our room and was the same smell that was in our room. This was an awful experience.

    Price was the main reason I chose this motel. Location was also a consideration. Hoped it was safer (than alternative locations) with respect to car being stolen/vandalized. Shower was good, plenty of hot water, and a curved curtain rod (Love that! Want one for my home).

    Convenient access to/from the highway. Motel 6 rates, which unfortunately at times don't buy a lot (see below). Clean room.

    We liked that they had a room available for our late check in. The beds were a bit worn but we still slept okay. We like the cotton sheets and bedding that isn't all polyester and plastic at Motel 6. The room was clean enough but older and worn out.

    The room was horribly dirty - we asked for a refund at the front desk and the manager was completely rude. Will never stay for ant Motel 6 again- couldn’t believe with the condition of the room that he expected us to stay. We ended up having to pay after being there for less than 5 minutes - what horrible management. We ended up staying at a families home.

    I had to stay here because it was the only reasonably priced motel in the Springfield, MA area. It was an average roadside motel.
