Featuring an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, this Cedar Lodge is 5 minutes drive to the entrance of Yosemite National Park. The on-site restaurant is open for dinner daily.

Equipped with air conditioning, all rooms include a TV, refrigerator, coffee-making facilities and an en suite bathroom. Rooms are styled in period wood furnishings and colourful accents at Yosemite Cedar Lodge.

I loved the location and the facilities (restaurant/bar). The bed was comfortable and room and bathroom spacious.

The property has a lot of facilities (pools, game room, fitness centre, shop ). It’s a huge, rather drab looking motel but recently an effort has been made to made to put a bit of greenery into the car park that surrounds the buildings. The riverside is nice. Staff are very helpful.

This motel was a more than acceptable option when we were unable to secure bookings within the park. Location close to park entrance. Food as good if not better than in park (without the queues). Staff helpful

Handy location for Yosemite park entry. Good pizza place for eat in and take out on site. Good restaurant on site too. It served a buffet breakfast- not included in price but didn’t try it. Good food selection in shop in lobby and as the rooms have kitchenettes it’s perfect to self cater. Saw an otter in river at hotel. Free parking.

I was expecting a motel but was much nicer than that. It’s only a 20 min drive to get to Yosemite’s entrance, the weather is warmer than in the park, and the room was tidy and clean.

Our family visited 8 national parks this summer, and Yosemite View Lodge was, by far, our favorite. It reminded me of “old school” motels from my childhood. The proximity to Yosemite couldn’t have been better, our room was clean and spacious, and the price point was reasonable. We would love to come back.

It’s the closest motel to Yosemite, just a few minutes drive to the gate. Rooms overlook a spectacular white water river. It’s big: like a little village with pizza place, restaurant, bar and shop. If you can’t find accommodation inside the park (which is preferable as they will close the entrances when it gets busy), then this is the next best thing.
