    This motel is located in an interesting historic part of town. It was updated in most areas and I had everything I needed. The mattress was OK. The check-in staff was especially pleasant.

    The inside of the motel is updated and comfy: don't let the exterior fool you! The owner is upgrading all the rooms and will redo the exterior as soon as he can. Very nice gentleman.

    The room was what I expected, albeit a little time worn ... stains on carpet and chairs, older style of furnishings. Bathroom looked pretty new. Shower was teeny. Entire building is very noisy; we could hear every footstep on the floor above us, and I heard a vacuum cleaner going at 10 pm. The coffee in the lobby was probably the best motel coffee I have ever had!
