Next door to the Marta Becket's World Famous Opera House, this hotel features uniquely decorated rooms. Death Valley National Park is less than 15 minutes’ drive away.

Each simply furnished room at Amargosa Opera House and Hotel offers air conditioning. Free toiletries are also provided.

One of the most special stays we ever experienced. A magical and inspiring place. The guided tour of the theatre is highly recommended.

Very great location for its price near Death Valley National Park. However, very worn - but I think that is the intention to keep the old feel. Kids thought we were sleeping in the Bates motel.😂 But we felt safe and had a good sleep. Thank you.

The hotel was a great location to visit Death Valley NationalPark. However the accommodations were ghastly. We stayed the two nights because we simply did not know where else to go. I will not stay at the hotel or recommend this hotel to anyone else. Some simple upgrades such as clean carpet, litter free entrance, appealing furniture in the common area, and better paint job. Can't believe I stayed here. AAA compared this hotel to Motel 6. That is an insult to Motel 6.

It was overall nice stay - the motel is in a historical building so if you are not ready for some compromises it's not for you ;)

Quirky motel. Stayed there 5 years ago and went back on purpose. Motel is a bit of a disaster but the SHOWERS. Water travels through borax deposits that make it so soft. Could stay in the shower for hours. This time the Opera House was open and what a treat. A DO NOT miss experience. Thanks.
