Located on Route 31 West and less than 1 mile from downtown Bowling Green, this motel is known by its friendly, red bird statue. Free WiFi is offered in all rooms.

Cable TV, a microwave and a fridge are found in each dark wood-furnished room of the Cardinal Motel Bowling Green. A sofa bed and air conditioning are also included.

I would choose this motel again. Rooms were updated and clean. I loved the table and 2 chairs. Often there is one chair at a desk, which leaves one person sitting on the bed. Great location. Plenty of food choices and shopping around, and very close to campus.

(our room was in another property) it was an older property - a motel, not in the hotel. The room was well-lit. The bed was comfortable. It was very clean - even the parking lot.

Rooms were modern and have been upgraded which was great to see in comparison to a lot of other low budget / value motels. Breakfast was simple, but enough selection to get you going. Location was great and free parking on site was an added bonus!

Hotel had the best breakfast of the four motels we used this week. The staff were making the effort, and the breakfast area was very clean and kept up.

Our room was a pet room, which is ok, except the dirty dog odor was very strong. I went to Kroger and picked up Febreze for fabric and Lysol for air and hard surface. That helped a lot. I think the carpet is likely holding onto odors. Vinyl plank is easier to keep clean. A lot of pet friendly motels are using that.
