Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
This is basically a renovated motel. We paid $400 for the night, which was the cheapest in the town, but I don't think the hotel was worth that. The front desk staff was good but the coffee shop staff refused to fill out water bottles, while Beaver tails had no issue helping us with that. For such basic service and appointments, it was not worth the cost.
The motel exceeded expectations with a great view and larger than expected rooms. Bathroom had been updated as were the TVs. There was a nice veranda to have a drink and they even had picnic tables and a grill.
Great stay! Loved the location, in the heart of the town, walking distance to restaurants, warf, activities. Cute cabin on the road!!! Will be going back!!
The location was in the heart of everything. We walked all over Waterton including up to the Prince of Wales hotel. Only 2 blocks to the main streets with all the restaurants and shops. 2 blocks the other direction to the waterfront. They have bbqs and picnic tables scattered around so we cooked our own dinner one night and ate outside. We will stay there again, maybe book a cabin next time as we had a motel room this time.
An older building, but our room and the lobby was updated and maintained. I appreciated the older style
motel, where our car could be parked right out our door. There was lots of green space and a playground.
I loved how my room had a view, an extra bed, free parking, and blankets. I also appreciated the fact they had a Starbucks bistro and fine dining with views. Everything is in the footstep of this location.
