We didn’t use the breakfast facility but on observation were very impressed with the selection on offer, and the presentation. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and efficient in all areas of work. The location was beautiful, facing the water. It was a 10 minute walk to town so very convenient. It was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay there again.

    From the time we arrived, to the time we left, we just felt so comfortable. Lovely big bed, everything so clean. The location was perfect and the staff were so helpful, gave us great advise with our travel plans.The motel just nearly had the whole package.

    Everything! The hosts were very accommodating. We embarked from the Spirit of Tasmania on New Year's Day and nothing was opened so we headed straight to the motel. Even though we were quite early, they got us a room so we could freshen up. We were there for 5 nights. Room was very comfy and clean. The motel is in a very nice area in Somerset - quiet, walking distance to shops, cafes, IGAs, and buses to Burnie and Wynyard, across from a park and river, and a short walk to the beach.

    Staff is very nice (I would like to vote for staff as excellent) and location of motel is nice too, only one thing was my concern, you could hear your neighbour’s door close and open, you could hear someone’s talking when your neighbours talk too loudly in their room. I mean it’s fair price, so it’s okay for me.

    Clean room, quiet location opposite the river. The room was well appointed. The motel management were friendly and helpful. I felt very much at home and would stay again.

    Everything was wonderful …. but…. Our room kept on smelling of cigarette smoke wafting from our bathroom Obviously our bathroom vent was share with the room behind us and he was smoking in the bathroom Not a fault of the motel but the fault of an inconsiderate guest I was tempted to Dob….
