Single rooms are fairly small, about average. I asked for a room without smoking. The room I was provided with smelled of cigarettes; worse, the porter gave me the wrong room, which created confusion later on, as the registration book and the room number were at odds.
A very well furnished and maintained hotel in a prominent square off the corniche in Alexandria. The rooftop Sky View restaurant has magnificent views and serves good food. Warm welcome at registration sets the tone for a lovely stay.

Small comfortable hotel. Good size room, with large balcony. Good breakfast, and in the evening owner would order your choice of meal through a delivery service. One of the few hotels I stayed the TV actually worked.

The history related to this hotel, one of the rare hotels you can stay in the old vibes in your eyes.I was dreaming to stay there when I was a child & my dream is fulfilled.
If you put me to 5 stars new hotels & the CECIL I will chose Cecil.............the old films I was watching in my childhood with the beauty of Alexandria & the smell of the sea....................my life my childhood & my memories. my own possession.
