Two rivers was amazing. The hot tub was the highlight after a day of skiing. Bed and breakfast was great too. Would definitely come back again if I visit Ohakune.

A beautiful cabin, lovely, modern, clean and heaps of room for 4 adults. The lady who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. We will be going back for another stay. An easy walk to the town centre.

We were very impressed with everything Daniel & River Lodge had to offer. The room was beautiful, had all the facilities we required, great shower, stunning view of the mountain. Breakfast was exceptional, much more than we had expected.

Excellent. Felt completely at home. Very helpful advice for activities in the area. Engaging but discreet hosts. Room spacious, lovely bathroom and bed comfortable. Breakfast was terrific with good options.

Perhaps the most comfortable bed we‘ve ever slept in. We slept like babies despite the fact that we had to get up at 5 am to catch a shuttle to Tongariro. We arrived late and were able to check in via a keybox. Aside from that it‘s more like a Youth Hostel. All needed facilities can be found. Power plugs are working. It‘s no luxury, but for the price a solid place to rest your limbs.
This was excellent for the cost. It is a 'backpacker' type accomodation but was clean, cosy, everythinng worked well, staff were very helpful. If you are on a budget you will be very pleased, if you just like to save you will be very happy here. If you want luxury look elsewhere. But clean comfortable quiet handy, this is great. We are mid 60's and could easily pay more but like to save and we liked it and would stay here again.

This is an absolutely fantastic and magical place, we were amazed! Comfort, atmosphere, luxury, views, literally everything exceeded our expectations. One and only place we will definitely come back to!
Superb breakfast choices and exceptional crumpets with homemade jam. Lovely garden. Great for our dog.
First impressions weren't good but how wrong was I. The kitchen, dining area we're superb, toilets and showers were clean. The room was a decent size with an electric heater and towel holder. There was hot food (reasonably priced) served in the adjacent bar. You could purchase provisions in the shop / reception area. The manager contacted the shuttle company to arrange transfer to the Alpine Crossing.
Joy, who runs the Lodge and shop on her own, was outstanding. Our premier double room was very nice for a hostel with good storage heater (It was unseasonably cold). We could leave our luggage secure and cook lunch in the common kitchen long after checkout.
Fantastic location, the room was very clean, had the best nights sleep of our holiday here, and the shower was AMAZING. My daughter left her beloved LambLamb behind, and as soon as we noticed, LambLamb was on the courier the very next day. 5 stars isn't high enough for this place. We will definitely be back.
Superb B&B! Nothing to fault here. Location, host, chalet, breakfast, cleanliness, everything was perfection. Every need has been anticipated. Just missed the view of the mountain due to fog but trip up to Turoa was exciting. Would love to visit in the summer.
