Charming property, wonderful staff. Large rooms, nice bathroom, immaculately clean and well prepared. Very quiet at night for a good night's sleep. I took all my meals there - lunch, dinner and breakfast, all good. My friends tell me they serve excellent beer but I don't drink! Not difficult to find and plenty of parking. Good value.
Frome

Burnham on Sea

The property is non-smoking and is situated 47 km from Ashton Court. A super last minute booking (literally hours) after looking through a few options in the area this ticked all the boxes. Host was brilliant and we arrived very late evening to a very welcoming twinkly Christmas tree and everything we could need to make a hot drink and unwind. The apartment blew us away, it is truly beautiful and had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. We all slept really well and found the evening to be quiet and peaceful.
Porlock
Situated in Porlock in the Somerset region and Bossington Beach reachable within 1.2 km, Luxury Bed And Breakfast at Bossington Hall in Exmoor, Somerset features accommodation with free WiFi, a squash court a tennis court and free private parking. Three of the ten rooms are pet friendly. It was fantastic, a great house and a wonderful garden. We and our dog enjoyed it a lot.

Amazing gem of a hotel with a great restaurant downstairs. Checkin was efficient and personal, which was a nice touch. Room was clean, warm, and well equipped. Ate in the restaurant for dinner. Set menu on a Tuesday which was a little disappointing as I'd seen the a la carte menu on the internet and really wanted to to try it, however the set menu was delicious, and great value for money (although no choice, so good job I liked what was on the menu!) All the staff were great, so friendly and welcoming. Bed really comfy and I slept well. Breakfast was delicious again, good selection to pick from. I had salmon and poached eggs. Perfectly cooked. Parking available on the street outside free after 6pm until 8am. I think there was another carpark nearby if you need to park longer than overnight. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area.
Glastonbury

One of the best places I’ve ever been. The Studio is amazing, comfortable, and has everything that we need. In the kitchen we found bread, eggs, tea, coffee, cereals, milk, jams… The place is wonderful and peaceful.

Hosts Martyn and Marina were lovely, so thoughtful and hospitable. The food (pretty much all homemade) and all the little details really elevated the experience and the hut was so gorgeous, clean and comfortable. Had everything you need. Wish we could’ve stayed for longer!

The food was outstanding, for both dinner and breakfast. T he staff, service and ambience was welcoming and luxurious. Our room was charming it was a little dark but it went with the vibe and everything was very thought through, with a coffee machine, tea and lovely accessories and furniture and textured lovely fabrics everywhere.
Drove past the chool House first time round - more prominent signage would have been welcome, but not a problem. The host and hostess were warm, welcoming and friendly, and they provided an outstanding breakfast. Their marmalade and jam was so good, I bought some to take home with me. The room was homely rather than luxurious, but perfectly respectable for a good quality B&B. Our hosts recommended the Crown Inn for dinner, which was only a short drive away, and offered an outstanding meal, al fresco.
Super stay here. I have to say one of the best hotels in the SW I have stayed at. The food is exceptional and the friendliness and personal attention from the owners was second to none. Our children were provided with great attention, cocktails were superb and we even had a personal tour of the chef's garden which was a real highlight. We will be back!
Well positioned stunning lodge with access to fishing lakes. Excellent facilities very clean exceptional value for money. 5 stars.
Room (33) was fine, nice size, and all the necessary fittings. Bed was mostly comfortable. Towels nice and big and fluffy. Good coffee station. Breakfast superb, catered for all choices and the fresh individually cooked breakfast was very hot and tasty. Restaurant food is again superb, about the best I have had in this standard of hotel. Thanks Chef. Good bar area. Great location with just a 12-15 minute walk to Somerset CCC. Staff efficient and courteous.
Location sublime though a bit far to walk to Porlock in rain for supper. Taxi companies used succesfully though! Breakfast was superb and all the little touches in this high end and interesting property were great. Owner Guy and Anna? went out of their way to explain everything and help make for a very welcome stay. Thank you. Views from bedroom and dining Hall outstanding.....very relaxing.
Wonderfully dog friendly to the point of volunteering ‘he’s welcome in the dining room at breakfast’. How rare! It made the furry traveller & I feel so welcome. Superb toiletries, superb bed & shower, everything was top quality & generous. But the real gem was the cooked breakfast. Utter perfection.
This is the best B & B I've ever stayed in. Luxurious, spacious, immaculately clean room and bathroom. Facilities outstanding with very fine eye for detail. Appreciated fresh milk provided. Superb breakfast. The hosts are warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. Mine was a working visit and it was great going back to a quiet, relaxing room. Great location if you are visiting the Bath & West Showground.
Melanie and Martin were exceptionally kind and warm hosts, with great local knowledge. The breakfast was superb, (fantastic eggs!!!) with nice touches like homemade granola. The Deluxe room was comfy, had deluxe luxury towels, toiletries and every convenience needed and the room is lovely with a wonderful view.
Terri was the perfect hostess, from our arrival welcome with tea and scones to providing a fantastic breakfast each morning, nothing was too much trouble. Our room "Sheppey" was spacious with a deluxe ensuite bathroom including a walk-in shower and a rolltop bath. Terri has renovated this former pub to perfection, utilising colourful furnishings and the bedding and towels are top quality - pure luxury.
