Owner was exceptional. Dinner delicious. Highly recommend.
Helston

Everything was quality….from the appearance, to the decor, to the bedding, to the food. A beautiful oasis in the country. Our host greeted us warmly at the door and we felt we could rely on him if we needed him at anytime in the country.

We were given a free upgrade on arrival and had a room overlooking the superb views to the front of the building. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were all very helpful and friendly, they could not do enough to help and advise on places to visit during our stay. Food was great. The chef cooked superb meals that far excelled our expectations, we had Chateau Briand on our last night, cooked to perfection.
This was an outstanding find ! Meadowside is in a beautiful spot with views of the estuary all around. The accommodation was exceptional-5 star luxury!.Our hosts were so friendly and really made us feel at home with their kindness.
everything was superb from arrival and warm greeting the fabulous breakfasts large room with excellent decor all top quality furnishings and toiletries better than some five star hotels I have stayed in trust me anyone who stays will be impressed and the bonus a cared for garden
Fantastic apartment within easy walk of the amazing and family friendly beach at Marazion and 10 minute walk to the village with local pub and 2 great restaurants. The lookout that we stayed in has a outstanding bathroom with a huge bath and walk in shower. Log burner for cold evenings and underfloor heating which is lovely under foot. Great patio and garden for Bbqs and drinks. 5 stars.
Yes we were welcomed and shown to our room. Excellent Room too. Beautiful. A luxurious room and bed as well as television. The best Inn ever for luxury. The breakfast chef does an excellent breakfast. Everything cooked to perfection, the size of breakfast 😋 is huge and excellent staff.
Rooms were lovely. Simple modern decor and luxurious fixtures and fittings (superb shower!). Food was exceptional. My husband is particularly fussy as he’s a former fine dining chef and thoroughly enjoyed the meals. Staff were wonderful. Attentive and warm. Can’t recommend this establishment enough.
The breakfast was outstanding. Beautiful presentation and excellent quality cooked to perfection. The location was beautiful. Very quiet and stunning views. You can even watch the sunset from the farm. The gardens were lovely and having the horses and cows was an added bonus. We went and saw the horses each day and had cuddles. The quality of furniture, bedding and infact the whole house was superb and the highest quality. Donna is lovely and so easy to talk to and you can tell she really love what she does.
Location was amazing, evening meal was outstanding, bed was very comfy. Bedroom size was very small for the price and breakfast let me down. Really looking forward to the eggs Benedict but I found the sauce tasteless, eggs undercooked and muffin was over cooked, hard to cut into. I didn’t complain because everything else was perfect. I would stay again as the location is amazing. Cost was high for the room, 5 stars I’m not sure but like I’ve said the location is amazing.
Birgitt and Paul are lovely hosts, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to Mandeley Guest House in Helston! Great location; accommodation exellent, spotlessly clean room with super comfy bed (room cleaned every day); the shower powerful and towels luxurious soft; brekfast was fantastic, cooked to perfection, top quality and lots of choice every day!
