This is a lovely well equipped cottage with wonderful views out over the sea. We haven't stayed here in summer but I would imagine it is gorgeous with plenty of wonderful coastal walks. Our stay was in November and we benefited from the log burner which makes the cottage very cosy. The kitchen is fairly small but has all the gadgets you'll need. The stairs are on the steep side and there are two steps up into the bathroom which again is small but with a roomy shower. It is well situated between St Austell and Penetwan, easy to get to with one parking space and lots to visit in the area. We have stayed here twice and would definitely recommend. Ideal for a couple, dog friendly and would be a comfortable size for 2 adults and 1 child though it will accommodate more. Delicious welcome pack on arrival

The size of our room was very misleading from the photos. The studio layout was larger than life for a studio. When we arrived.. there were eggs.. milk.. coffee..and chocolates. The towels were huge and of great quality. There was an iron..a hair dryer.. full kitchen with pots and pans..cling film..aluminium foil.. enough toilet paper for a week's stay... a pedestal fan..sky TV.. and the grounds were absolutely breath taking. There was also a huge pool that is covered and to be used at any time. There were no cut of times as long as you locked up after leaving. The owners wonderful and I also want to add that with it being a pet friendly environment.. my dog was in heaven. A major plus was that the back part of the studio was underground which kept the room very cool especially in 30 plus degrees on several days and because it was underground it was also well lighted. The furnishings were extremely soothing on the eyes and we will go back every year. There were pubs within walking distance and it was very sad when leaving.

Julia and David contacted us before we arrived, explained details about the property which was very helpful and reassuring. The apartment was really pleasant, well equipped (beyond my expectations), clean, friendly and the complementary chocolate, bottle of bubble, eggs and milk was a bonus which is greatly appreciated! Loved the living room area, relaxing atmosphere with comfy sofas and armchair. It was nice and warm despite we stayed in mid February. The swimming pool is amazing! Heated and our child had so much fun. It’s a shared space, between 3 apartments, but mostly was used by only a couple of people at a time. There is no restrictions on opening times. FYI it’s useful to take dressing robes as there is no direct indoor access from the apartment, need to walk few meters outside. Julia and David are great hosts, we felt their warm welcome, support (even after we left) at the same time given full privacy. Thank you
