Accommodations are simple, and can appear to some outdated, however it provides basic comfort you need for a few or some days of stay. Beds were comfortable, room clean and spacious. Extra seating space available. The room does have a tea kettle, a few instant coffee packets, and a small refrigerator. There are no options for breakfast on site, however restaurants nearby are easily accessible by foot and/or car. It is quiet and pleasant. I will definitely stay here again. :)

Haus Alba is a townhouse located in the centre of Grantown on Spey. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a seating area. Private bathroom also comes with a shower. Extras include ironing facilities. David and Beate were amazing hosts. We felt at home. The accommodation was huge, ideally located in the city, within walking distance of good restaurants and pubs. We had wonderful advice on every question we had. Breakfast was amazing too. I will definitely go back to Haus Alba for the whisky festival next year !! Thank you for everything :)

Breakfast is freshly cooked to order and made from local ingredients wherever possible, and Auld Kirk's chef has won numerous awards and accolades. A wonderful and cozy place to stay in Balleter. The host was friendly and briefed us on the do's n don't while staying there. The room was neat and clean. We appreciated very much the welcome pack of cookies and the taste of local whiskey. Breakfast was fantastic and cooked as requested from the menu. A good variety! Checking in and out was easy at the reception. A close walk to the town center.
