Found in Scotland’s Cairngorms National Park, Scandinavian Village in Aviemore offers high-quality accommodation beside these rugged mountains. Furnished with Scandinavian pine, its apartments offer free WiFi and parking. it was so spacious and clean! it had wonderful utilities and such and the nearby grocery stores were quite helpful. the staff helped me with a problem and they were so kind. It was comfortable.
Grantown on Spey
Each individually decorated room features a flat-screen TV and a complimentary bottle of mineral water. Some rooms have outstanding views over the Cromdale and Cairngorm Hills, a spa whirlpool bath with underwater LCD colour lighting, underfloor tile heating, and sound system in the bathroom. You feel like royalty in this castle like looking hotel. Staff is amazingly kind and welcoming. Breakfast is carefully put together and delicious.
Ballater
This former church has been tastefully converted, enabling retention of the original features. Auld Kirk Hotel is situated in the heart of picturesque Royal Deeside. It features free Wi-Fi and free off-site parking.
Breakfast is freshly cooked to order and made from local ingredients wherever possible, and Auld Kirk's chef has won numerous awards and accolades.
Comfortable, well-appointed room which was quiet despite being adjacent to the main road into the town. The owners and their staff know their business very well, and work hard to present a very high standard (e.g., great breakfasts!). The building is a converted church, and retains some characterful features from its previous use. Location is a short walk to the bars and restaurants in the town.

Property was fantastic with a very spacious room and ensure. Evening meal was outstanding!! Massive platefuls and all home cooked. My husband had steak...Best he's tasted I opted for the haggis lasagne which was very good. The place was extremely busy on arrival and all locals friendly. The breakfast was superb with range of cereals, porridge and cooked breakfast all again fantastic. The Bar has a pool table and drinks are reasonable priced. Staff very friendly. Overall 10 out of 10. We will be back in the near future im sure.

This has to be the best b & b accommodation we have ever stayed in. Absolutely beautiful, spacious room and a huge bathroom with steam room. Felt like we were staying in a 5* star luxury hotel. Room was very spacious and clean, little touches like dressing gowns, tea/coffee making facilities with mini fridge, fresh milk and home baked goodies made it feel luxurious. Breakfast was made to order and cooked to perfection. Hosts Ruby and Raymond were very welcoming and made us feel at home right from the start.
Everything was 5-star. Ruby and Raymond were the perfect hosts and could not have done any more to make us feel totally at home in their immaculate house. Our large, spacious room was superbly furnished and had spectacular views over their lovely garden to the mountains beyond. The breakfast was, like everything else, absolutely top quality.
