We usually only stay at 5 Star hotels for our holidays and everything at the Vilalara Resort met its 5 star rating.
The breakfast was exceptional - with lots of variety and choice. The staff was very pleasant and helpful at all times and had a smile each time. Thanks to the whole Breakfast Team.
The Pools and general facilities at the resort were also fantastic. We spent a great deal of time at the pool side - which was very peaceful and relaxing. Rakesh the pool side attendant was brilliant - always helpful with a smile each time.
We also visited the Spa / Health / Gym - which were again excellent - very clean / comfortable / lovely staff.
The beach is nearby was a lovely and a great place to visit at the end of each day to unwind further.
The rooms were very comfortable, clean and attended to daily. The hotel grounds were kept well - with beautiful gardens filled with exotic plants everywhere. Absolutely wonderful and very pleasing as you walked about.
We would like to especially mention the Hotel Reception team led by Pedro Fonseca - they were absolutely brilliant, always very helpful with great suggestions to local restaurants / sites to visit and real credit to the hotel - which is why we will recommend it to all our friends and perhaps book again for next year - thankyou everyone.
Overall - we would say particularly thanks to ALL the staff at the Vilalara Resort - they are all professional, helpful and always happy to meet and greet - our congrats to the leadership team.

The townhouse is the typical, old townhouse. Beautifully restored, modernised, cozy, looked into each and every detail. You wouldn’t expect what’s inside until you open the door, as you will find a modern house with all the comfort. Diogo, the host, on top of each and every need of us, giving us tips of places, restaurants, things to do…. His sister was waiting for us on arrival. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old part of the city. Walking distance to bars and restaurants, and literally 4 minutes away from the beach. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace every night, having a drink and chatting till midnight. I 100% recommend the place.

The staff were friendly, the room was lovely and the breakfast was delicious. I requested a softer pillow and was immediately given one.

They often have a central location which makes exploring the main sights a breeze.
Amazing villas with a lot of facilities. The staff is very nice and polite and are ready to help you in any possible way. The villa felt super luxurious and very nicely equipped. The location is fantastic. I loved my stay here.
The location is superb. The house is inserted in a tourist resort with small houses and lots of greenary around, a heated inside swimming pool, and an outside pool with a restaurant and bar overlooking the ocean. The area is very calm and taken care of, and there's private access to the beach. The house had everything we needed, lots of kitchen utensils, our son loved the mezzanine type of bed. The house was clean, and the view to the garden was so nice. The host Rui was very helpful and fast to reply. We'd definitely come back.
The room's luxury feel, the breakfast, the outside pool. There's a beach near but needs bit walking and there's a steep hill but it's easily accessible with the car. Nice calm area.
The location was superb, and so was the house itself, although it lacked amenities. We cannot recommend the hosts more, which were very quick to answer and solve any problems. The view of the ocean is spectacular, the pool is gated and large, the maintenance and upkeep of the outdoor spaces is very good.
An exceptional experience filled with beauty, attentive service, and great amenities. We were visiting from Australia and the accommodation, surroundings and outstanding staff made our holiday in Portugal truly memorable. I highly recommend White Shell Beach Resort for a remarkable getaway.

The location is perfect for sea views and tranquility
This is a little gem of a property, beautifully decorated and all you need for your stay. We were 2 friends, a double room each with lovely comfy beds, slept so well! Very quiet location yet only a 10 minute walk from all bars and restaurants and 5 minutes from amazing beaches along the cliff walk with incredible views! For upmarket dining there is a 5 start resort within walking distance, supermarket a 10 minute walk away, a perfect self catering stay in Portugal!

This villa is 5 star! chic, trendy, modern, clean, ambient and the most caring attentive staff! There is such a chilled vibe about this place and the attention to detail is second to none! i was travelling 29 weeks pregnant and staff went above and beyond to ensure maximum in comfort for me. the grounds/garden and pool area are absolutely beautiful. we stayed for 3 nights and would love to have stayed longer! we will be back for sure and will recommend to all! a truly amazing experience. thank you.
